COMPANY PROFILE AND MISSION
ANDROMEDA s.r.l., born in April of 2000, is a small society with great ideas.
Our mission focuses on applications where the reliability and the safety of the systems are priority and not expendable requisites. Moving from such a strategic formulation, our competences were sharpened in two vertical market segments:
Industry - automation, robotics, industrial machines and plants, tracking and tracing, RFID, IRID, documents management, CRM.
Infrastructures and Transport Systems - integrated automation plants for motorway tunnels, building automation, railroads, traffic control and railways.
Public segment - logistics, tracing, RFID, documents management.
Aerospace research, with particular reference to systems and technologies for Astronautics, test equipments and facilities.
High tech design and software - systems to manage the project life cycle, metrics for the improvement of the design processes (CMM, CMMi); lean methodologies for the efficiency of the committment design processes.
Information & Communication Technology - design and development of complex software systems, distributed in intranet, using the most updated web service technologies; consultancy, project management.
Furthermore, our conspicuous experience in the field of industrial automation allows us to face with success any problematic concerning:
Continuous process control (research plants, wind tunnels, plasma wind tunnels, test equipment, space systems of earth, food batching, metallurgy, chemistry, pharmaceutics, oil-chemistry,...).
Control of discreet processes (tracking of materials).
Firmware and Embedded Software (onboard systems, aerospace and not; telecommunication systems; optic fiber data transport systems).
Our experience, of thirty years in computer science and automation, led us to conceive and develop our methodological tools, that allow us to manage the whole project according to quality standards and with great economic efficiency.
OUR PRINCIPLES
First, we believe in Persons. It is not true that the persons are all interchangeable and expendable. The specific skills, the experience and sensibilities matured during years of professional engagement are, to us, of incomparable value. The concentration and love for the trade of the systems integrator lead us to conceive methodologies more and more effective, both for design and for project management. Our great attention for the human aspects - systems users, project skills, project management, education and training - always rewarded us with the most satisfactory results.
Secondly, we believe in Technology. Technology made possible the passage from the industrial age to the electronic age. Such epochal change means economic, social and cultural growth. We conceive Electronics as a mean, not only as an end of the design: we creatively and intensively use the informatic, relational and telematic means, as a support to the design.
Third, we operate in the Aerospace and High-Tech segments, and we strongly aim to increase our presence in such segments, with particular attention to the real-time systems, where safety and reliability are a primary value. We believe in the opening of the Space Frontier as an highroad for the creation of an Open World, in which the Human Civilization can continue to develop, beyond the limits of pur mother planet. We work with persistent enthusiasm, with ideologic firm belief, and big capacity to involve others, in our aim of high professional engagement.
Fourth, we are a partner of great seriousness. To us, the first professional duty is the one to give critical opinions, even when it appears opposed to the immediate interest. Our experience teachs us that to act with rigour always result in a profit, in the middle and long period.
